Peter Sagan wins Stage 3 of the Tour of Oman. He won at this spot last year and had the race leader’s red jersey on his shoulders. Despite such obvious form and suitability he still finished several lengths ahead of Greg Van Avermaet (BMC Racing) and Tony Gallopin (Radioshack).

Peter Sagan wins Stage 2 of the Tour of Oman. He had enough time to celebrate, first pointing at the Slovak emblem on his jersey then raising his arms aloft for a more traditional victory salute.
Look closely and you can spot the chasers behind. Also look for the excited locals waving them camel sticks in the air.

Note the one-piece skinsuit yesterday, every watt counts. He finished third on Stage 1
